Jerry grew up with country and bluegrass music, learning to play guitar and sing from his father who he has decided must be the most patient person on earth. Spending most of his early years wanting to be a “Rock Star”, Jerry played drums and guitar in several country and country rock bands before attending a bluegrass festival at age 16 becoming hooked for life. It was then that Jerry decided he wanted to play the Dobro. With help and encouragement from local musicians Jerry has not only become a fine Dobro player but a builder as well.
